The formation of pores in CMSX-4 nickel based superalloys is detrimental to the service life material. A way avoid problem treat under Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP), which enables a large volume fraction be annihilated. This paper aims understand contribution plastic activity related gliding dislocations on pore annihilation. Simulations phase-field model dislocation are performed and make it possible consider strong anisotropy HIP conditions conjunction elastic heterogeneity introduced by pore. For with radius few micrometers, shown that edge parts lines present an extra half atomic plane oriented towards stacked above direction perpendicular their slip-planes, causing increase number along four octahedral directions FCC single crystal intersect center. Results streamlined within isotropic theory dislocations. Effects reactions also investigated order specify what would configuration around conditions.
